A federal judge has dismissed a conspiracy charge filed against a McAllen man. The case against 23-year-old Julio Trevino, Junior, was dismissed on Friday.
Federal investigators claimed Trevino was involved with a group trying to illegally export guns to a cartel in Mexico. But Trevino’s lawyer argued that the government did not provide enough evidence to support the conspiracy charge. The judge agreed and dismissed the case against Trevino.
