The City of Raymondville wants to help residents prepare for potential flooding by distributing sandbags this weekend.
The National Weather Service says locally heavy rainfall is possible in South Texas on Monday, increasing the chances of isolated local flooding. Sandbags will be handed out behind Raymondville City Hall today, tomorrow and Sunday to those who show proof of residency.
Residential water customers will be limited to six sandbags, while commercial customers will be limited to ten sandbags.
