Several groups have filed a lawsuit to try to stop a land swap between SpaceX and the federal government.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has agreed to give 715 acres of the Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge to SpaceX, in exchange for 683 acres of private land. Three Brownsville groups and the Center for Biological Diversity filed suit against the agency yesterday, saying the swap violates several federal laws.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said the agency does not comment on pending litigation.
