Charges have been announced against ex-U.S. Olympic canoeist David Hearn for allegedly vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. U.S. Attorney for Washington, DC Jeanine Pirro called the alleged vandalism “anarchy.”

Hearn is accused of damaging the newly renovated pool’s liner on June 19th. Pirro says Hearn, a Maryland native, faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

The alleged vandalism of the pool has drawn the ire of President Trump, who was behind the estimated 16-million-dollar renovation project.
