State Representative James Talarico’s U.S. Senate campaign claims he raised 30 million dollars in the second quarter of this year.

The Democratic candidate claims it’s a record haul for a Senate candidate in the second quarter of an election year. The campaign of Talarico’s GOP opponent, Attorney General Ken Paxton, announced Wednesday that he’d raised more than nine million dollars in the second quarter.

Paxton’s campaign says it’s his personal best and the most ever raised by any non-incumbent GOP Senate candidate this cycle.
