National GOP Leaders To Rally Behind Paxton’s Senate Bid At DC Fundraiser

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz is one of more than a dozen GOP senators who will attend an upcoming fundraiser for Attorney General Ken Paxton.

The guest list at the July 22nd event in Washington, D.C., also includes U.S. Senate Majority Leader John Thune and National Republican Senatorial Committee Chair Tim Scott. Senate leadership earlier spent millions supporting incumbent U.S. Senator John Cornyn, whom Paxton defeated in the primary. Paxton faces Democratic candidate James Talarico in November’s midterm.
