By A poll released Tuesday indicates that most black voters aren’t holding a grudge against State Representative James Talarico after the result of the Democratic primary in the spring.
Talarico defeated U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett, who had the overwhelming support of black voters to be the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate.
The poll by Texas Southern University found that fewer than one in ten black voters in Texas plan to stay home on Election Day as a result of Crockett’s defeat.
