President Trump’s newly signed executive order focused on childhood vaccine schedules is facing some pushback. Speaking from the White House Monday,
Trump said the order would split the childhood MMR vaccine — for measles, mumps, rubella — into three shots. Republican Senator Bill Cassidy, who’s a physician, called the order “wrong” in a post on X.
Cassidy wrote that the “President does not have the expertise to make these changes” and that breaking up vaccines will increase hesitancy and make children less safe.
