Court documents are giving more details about last month’s arrest of an Edinburg pastor. Forty-nine-year-old Jorge Gonzalez Martinez was taken into custody on July 27th.
A young girl accused Martinez of inappropriately touching her, starting with hugs and progressing to pulling up her shirt and touching her breasts. He allegedly touched her other private areas and also forced her to touch his body. He’s facing multiple counts of indecency with a child and was released from jail last week on a 70-thousand-dollar bond.
The Edinburg Police Department is trying to determine if there may be other victims.
