The trial of a Donna man who was arrested after the 2024 death of his three-year-old daughter has been delayed. Jose Manuel Uresti was scheduled to go on trial for murder and other charges next week.
Prosecutors asked for a delay on Tuesday due to the availability of a medical examiner who will testify during the trial. The new trial date will be determined at a hearing in November.
