(Tehran) — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says his country will immediately return to the terms of an interim deal with the U.S., if the U.S. does the same.

Pezeshkian made the comments about the lapsed Memorandum of Understanding earlier today. The agreement was signed in June and was originally designed to provide a framework so talks could eventually take place to end the conflict. Iran’s president says he’s looking for diplomacy over armed conflict.
