President Trump claims communities that don’t want AI data centers will “end up being backwards and poor.” Trump posted on Truth Social Monday that communities must “let Data Reign” if they want lower taxes and more jobs. Recent polling shows Americans are more opposed to data centers in their neighborhoods.
A Fox News survey found that 7 in 10 Americans are against construction of an AI data center in their area. That included 60 percent of Republicans and 76 percent of Democrats.
