Gas prices are on the rise as the conflict between the U.S. and Iran heats up. Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz appears to have slowed, sending the price of oil upward in recent weeks.

According to AAA, today’s average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is a penny over four dollars a gallon, up from about three-85 a week ago. Drivers in California are paying the most at five-51 a gallon.
