The dignified transfer of two U.S. soldiers killed in Iranian attacks in Jordan has been postponed. That’s according to the White House, which said the ceremony will take place on a date that’s being finalized.
President Trump had said he was set to be in attendance today at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. Nineteen-year-old Isabella Gonzales of Texas was killed on Friday, while 25-year-old Tyler Freehan of Hawaii died on Saturday. The attack by Iran also left another solider missing.
In a Truth Social post, Trump said, “Every time Iran kills an American soldier they will pay for that killing many times over!”
