A man is in custody after a child fatally shot another child in Ferris Saturday afternoon. The Ferris Department of Public Safety said a very young child was able to gain access to a gun inside the home and then shot another young child.
An adult male fled the scene, but was found and taken into custody. The ages of the children involved have not been released. Charges are being pursued against the man taken into custody.
