The City of Alamo has fired its city manager. City commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to dismiss City Manager Bobby Salinas.
No cause for the action was given. Salinas thanked city officials following the vote, calling it a privilege to work alongside them. He added that organizations sometimes reach a point where a change is needed, saying it’s the right time for him to move in a different direction.
Alamo Police Chief Saul Solis will serve as acting city manager until a replacement is hired.
