Authorities have relocated an alligator after it made itself at home in a Los Fresnos swimming pool.
The ten-foot-long alligator was captured by a crew from the South Padre Island Birding Nature and Alligator Sanctuary last week. A spokesperson said the capture went smoothly and was over in about 15 minutes.
Officials warn that alligators are a protected species and fines can be assessed for feeding, owning or hurting them.
