A man wanted for murder in Cameron County has been arrested in Eagle Pass. Rogelio Mendiola was reportedly taken into custody at a port of entry on Saturday.
Mendiola is one of three suspects accused of killing 42-year-old Genaro Urbano Castillo in Cameron Park in May of 2021. Mendiola will remain at a federal detention facility in Val Verde County pending extradition to Cameron County.
