Leaders in a Cameron County community are acting after restrooms at a local park were vandalized for the fifth time in a year.

A mirror was broken, stall doors were removed and red paint was recently sprayed on the walls at Combes Community Park. City officials say the repairs will cost about a thousand dollars.

The city also plans to install cameras outside the building to try to catch anyone trying to damage the building, which is expected to reopen this week.
