By Republicans are looking to make massive changes to the census. The plan is led by Texas Congressman Chip Roy, who is furious that illegal immigrants are counted the same as citizens. He called the 2020 census the “sanctuary census.” That’s because states where illegal immigrants are shielded from deportation had larger populations and, therefor, more seats in congress.
