The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a child’s death in rural Alamo. Deputies were called to the 59-hundred block of Veisha Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The unresponsive child was taken to the hospital by a family member and was later pronounced dead. Investigators are working to determine the cause and manner of the child’s death.
