A second person is in custody in connection to a hit-and-run in Edinburg last week that left a cyclist critically injured.

Police say 70-year-old Silvia Martinez was arrested Thursday on a charge of failure to report a felony. Martinez is identified as the common-law wife of 71-year-old Alfredo Yanez, who allegedly hit a person riding a bicycle last Friday then drove off.  Yanez faces several charges including collision involving serious bodily injury.
