Dallas County health officials are confirming the county’s first case of the measles in 2026. The patient is a Dallas County resident, but no identifying details were shared for privacy reasons. Health officials say the patient visited three locations last week, possibly exposing others.

The patient was at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Chapel in Allen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 14th, and at Gloria’s Restaurant in Fairview from 12:30 to 5 p.m. the same day. On August 15th, the patent was at the Revel Patio Grill in Frisco from 8 p.m. to midnight.
