One Dead, One In Critical Condition After Shooting In Rural Mission

A woman is dead and a man is in critical condition after a shooting in rural Mission.

First responders went to the 25-hundred block of Jessica Avenue last night after a call for a welfare check. They found two people with gunshot wounds to the head.

The woman died after she was brought to the hospital. The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting.
