The Rio Hondo High School football team won’t be taking the field at their renovated stadium until next month. The school district broke ground on the six-million-dollar renovation in early June.

Improvements include new turf, LED lighting and a new track. Head coach Rocky James expects the stadium to open in time for the team’s game on September 17th.
