The death toll from two earthquakes in Venezuela is now more than 52-hundred.

Updated figures were released by the Venezuelan government on Sunday noting not only the number of dead but the more than 16-thousand injured.

There have been over 64-hundred successful rescues since the back-to-back quakes struck on June 24th.
