A man is facing charges after authorities say he left a baby in the middle of the road in St. Louis. Metro police said 36-year-old Christopher Pearson placed a car seat containing an infant in a driving lane Wednesday afternoon then drove off.
The baby was moved out of the road by a witness and is unharmed. Authorities said Pearson was arrested after a chase during which he reportedly threw a gun out of his vehicle.
