The Donna school district has named an acting superintendent following the resignation of Angela Dominguez. Rebecca Castaneda will serve in the role until a new superintendent is hired.
Castaneda has spent more than 30 years as an educator, including serving as the district’s deputy superintendent. Dominguez was officially named superintendent of the Edinburg school district last week.
