Homeland Security Investigations has reportedly opened a child exploitation probe in South Texas.

The investigation comes after ProPublica and the Washington Post reported on Pharr volleyball coach Ryan Richardson last month. Richardson was ruled permanently ineligible by the U.S. Center for SafeSport in February after allegedly committing sexual misconduct involving minors.

An HSI supervisor told the two publications that he plans to “turn over every rock” as part of the investigation into the coach.
