By The mayor of Edinburg says a contractor will pay for repairs to a water main that was damaged earlier this week. The city issued a boil water notice for an area near Allen Drive after the water line was broken on Tuesday.
Mayor Omar Ochoa says the contractor did not check with the city before doing any digging, so the contractor will have to pay for the repair. The city lifted the boil water notice in the affected area last night.
