Eight Dead, 18 Missing In Counties Other Than Kerr

At least eight people are dead in three Texas counties other than Kerr County as a result of Friday’s floods.

Travis County officials are confirming at least four deaths and around a dozen people missing. Officials urge residents not to take boats out on Lake Travis or Lake Austin because of the possibility of interfering with rescue efforts.

In Burnet County, three people are dead and five missing, including a firefighter who disappeared during a water rescue. Williamson County is confirming one death and two missing persons.
