The top executives of a Houston-based company are under indictment in New York for conspiracy, bribery and tax fraud.

The state Attorney General unsealed a 79-count indictment on Tuesday against five executives of RCI Hospitality Holdings, which owns and operates strip clubs. Also named in the indictment are three Manhattan strip clubs the company owns.

The executives are accused of bribing a state auditor at least six times between 2010 and 2024 to evade more than eight million dollars in sales taxes to the city and the state.
