By The former chaplain for the Austin Fire Department, who was fired for his opposition to transgender sports participation, has settled his lawsuit against the city. Andrew Fox wrote on his personal blog that he believes allowing biological men to compete in women’s sports contradicts what’s in the Bible.
The Fire Department demanded an official apology, which he refused. That’s when he was fired. Fox sued, citing his free speech rights. The city settled out of court and has since apologized.
