(Brownsville, TX) — South Texas will be under a flood watch for the next few days. The National Weather Service issued an advisory yesterday due to the chance of heavy rain over Memorial Day weekend. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible on Saturday, and heavy rain may lead to the flooding of rivers, creeks, roads and other low-lying areas. The flood watch will expire on Monday morning.
