The start of school has not been easy for many in the Texas Hill Country, which was hit hard by deadly flooding.
Governor Greg Abbott, on Thursday, handed out hundreds of laptops to kids whose families are recovering. He says, that since that July Fourth Flood, Texas has provided more than 200-million dollars in support.
Wednesday night, the budget passed out of the state legislature. And it added another 300-million in aid.
