Texas Governor Greg Abbott is not backing an effort to change the Texas Constitution to legalize casino gambling. Abbott made the comment to CBS News Texas, saying that they’ve “seen increasingly problems that go along with gaming.
Whether it be addiction or whether it be things that are happening in sporting events and athletes who are on the take.” It comes after legislation that would’ve allowed some resorts to be built and feature casino gambling failed.
