By Summer is over in Texas and it was a record breaker for the state’s power grid. Pablo Vegas, who heads the Electric Reliability Council, says that there were days that solar power beat out wind. That, he says, has never happened before. Vegas says it was all needed, due to record-breaking demand in Texas.
