A sexual assault lawsuit will be allowed to proceed against Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones next year. The plaintiff sued Jones in 2020, claiming he groped and kissed her without her consent during a Cowboys-Giants game at AT&T Stadium in September 2018.

On Thursday, a Dallas County judge denied Jones’s request for a summary judgment. The reopened case will proceed to trial by jury. The trial date is set for July 20th, 2026. Further requests and judgments may still change the hearing date or keep it from happening.
