A San Benito man wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting a child has been arrested in Cameron County. The county sheriff’s office says Jesus Estaban Escovar was arrested on Saturday.
The sheriff’s office said Escovar was wanted for aggravated sexual assault of a child, though no other information was released. He is expected to make his first court appearance later today.
