A man wanted on a charge of child sexual assault has been taken into custody in Hidalgo County. U.S. Customs and Border Protection says 20-year-old Jaime Maldonado was arrested Saturday at the Hidalgo International Bridge.
Officers discovered a felony warrant for Maldonado’s arrest during a secondary inspection. He was turned over to the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office and was jailed on a 150-thousand-dollar bond.
