By San Antonio Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones is hosting the second of two listening sessions this week to discuss a possible vote on the city’s 489-million-dollar contribution to build a new Spurs arena downtown.
The first session took place on Monday evening. The second is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blanco BBQ on Blanco Road. Jones has told the City Council she would welcome a discussion about placing the city’s contribution toward the arena on the November ballot.
