McAllen Warns Residents About Increased Bee Activity

The City of McAllen is warning residents about an increase in bee activity. A video posted online says the city has recently seen an increase in resident concerns about bees. Two McAllen residents were hospitalized on June 24th after they were attacked by bees.

Residents are warned not to provoke bee swarms and to go inside if a swarm is spotted. Swarm activity should also be reported to city officials, while anyone who has a negative reaction to a bee sting should seek immediate medical treatment.
