Local officials are asking for public input on a project to expand Nolana Avenue in McAllen. The proposed project would widen the road from four lanes to six between Wared Road and 23rd Street. The project is expected to cost about ten-million dollars. An in-person meeting to discuss the project will be held tomorrow at the McAllen Public Library at 5 p.m. A virtual presentation about the project will also be posted on the Texas Department of Transportation website later today.
