Authorities are investigating after a woman reported missing in Edcouch was found dead over the weekend.
Police began searching for Adela Davila after she was last seen at 900 West Adkins Avenue on Friday afternoon. Surveillance footage reportedly recorded Davila walking west on Crenshaw Road early Saturday morning.
Police then found her body in an alley near the 200 block of McDaniel Street. An autopsy has been ordered to determine her cause of death.
