A Mission teenager has finally returned home after suffering a cardiac arrest on a tennis court during a practice session.
Seventeen-year-old Araron Garza was hospitalized after collapsing last month. He was reportedly unconscious for nearly two weeks, and then needed several more weeks of recovery before he was released.
Doctors have implanted a device to help monitor and protect his heart, and the Veterans Memorial High School senior will need several more months of recovery before he can return to tennis.
