Veterans are being honored a several events in South Texas today. The McAllen Chamber of Commerce is holding a Veterans Day flag-raising ceremony at Driscoll Children’s Hospital this morning at 10 a.m.
The City of McAllen is also holding a ceremony at the Veterans War Memorial of Texas at 10 a.m. The City of La Villa and the La Villa ISD will honor veterans with a ceremony and brunch today at 11 a.m.
The City of Mission is also holding a barbecue lunch at the Mission Event Center beginning at 11:30 a.m.
