The city of Austin continues to catch heat for spending more than one-million dollars on a new logo as part of a rebranding effort.

Even Congressman Chip Roy is slamming the move. He thinks it was done because the old city seal contained a Latin cross. That was the subject of a 1987 lawsuit, brought by an atheist group. It was thrown out by an appeals court.
