By San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg is declining to make an official endorsement in the upcoming runoff election for mayor.
Nirenberg says voters should do their homework before choosing between Gina Ortiz Jones and Rolando Pablos in the runoff. Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai hasn’t made an endorsement, and it’s not clear if he plans to do so. Sakai has reportedly asked to meet personally with both candidates. Election Day is June 7th.
