An economic development organization in west Texas is suing the Trump administration in an effort to stop the installation of border barriers in the Big Bend area.
Democracy Forward, a nonprofit based in Washington, D.C., filed the federal lawsuit on Wednesday on behalf of the Presidio Municipal Development District.
The lawsuit claims the administration’s planned border wall along the Rio Grande in Presidio, Jeff Davis, and Brewster Counties will result in flooding in local communities.
