A new poll says most Texas voters oppose a comprehensive ban on THC products like the one Governor Greg Abbott vetoed earlier this week.
The poll from the Texas Politics Project at U-T Austin found that 53 percent of Texas voters opposed the ban, while 31 percent supported it.
Poll results showed 46 percent of Republicans supporting the ban and 39 percent opposing it. The poll was conducted early this month. Abbott’s veto drew criticism from Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, who had spearheaded the ban.
